Totally agree that consistency is everything here and any platform. Or, better saying, consistency is key in life to everything we try to do.

Couldn’t agree more William! Where else have you found consistency useful in life?

Parenting! I can see every single day with my little daughter that she is not learning something (a new word, a new anything) because we did it a lot of times per one day, but because we consistently try to help her a little EVERY DAY.

But I also found the same with writing...

I wrote about that here in this post called "What 60 Minutes a Day Can Do Over 16 Years": https://mellernotes.substack.com/p/what-60-minutes-a-day-can-do-over-16-years

That’s absolutely fantastic to hear. Although not a parent myself yet, totally understand your POV!

It's easy to get caught up in chasing big numbers, but your words bring it back to what truly matters: connection, presence, and consistency. Seeing and valuing the few who show up reminds me why I started. It's not about going viral, it's about growing something meaningful, one person at a time.

Wow, thank you. The whole idea of β€œbeing seen” is a dagger in many a writer’s heart. I’m first in line! But reading others’ thoughts helps tremendously. Thanks again.

Yesterday I received a comment from a reader who said they liked that my writing is β€œauthentic.” That in itself gives me more courage to make my stories personal.

Thank you for your story.

There’s a book titled β€œFeel the Fear and do it anyway” Honestly, I’ve never read it but just that phrase often keeps me going in new endeavors. It’s time I apply it to writing.

Great insights!
